Her tutorial may have worked for you, and knowing me I probably got the wrong type or size of tubing, or just cut the tubing too short for it to form a nice circle (I cut a 6 foot, 1.5 diameter size, tube in half); either way I’m too lazy to go back to Home Depot to figure it out. Plus, I’m on a budget and I wasn’t about to throw away tubing that I just spent a whole $1.97 on… annnnd and I was on a time crunch when I made the original wreath so I had to come up with something! So, if you ran into the same problem as me here is my fix:
Cut the ends of the tubing at slants so they fit together nicely.
That’s it and once you have a base for a wreath, the possibilities are endless. You can cover it with yarn, ribbon, or moss and add accents like flowers, little wooden birds, or monograms. I made the one below as a birthday gift for a Giants fan. I wrapped it in black felt and added black, white and orange felt flowers. I think it turned out pretty well considering what I had to work with!
P.S. Lynniear Equation, if you’re reading this, I know I made this for your birthday two months ago… and I said I was going to mail it to you two months ago, but I forgot, and will be putting it in the mail this week :]

hey talented crafty friend, why are you not selling these??!! So cute.
I had the same problem…I stuffed my tubing with plastic grocery bags. I used an unwound hanger to stuff them inside. It worked perfectly and I ended up with a nice round wreath form (without the cuts as shown here)! Just another idea
